I shot this commercial for a friend of mine who opened up his own Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/Mixed Martial Arts dojo out in his hometown of Marion with his business partner.

This is the first action type video I ever worked on. I was a little nervous, as I had never shot anything like this before. I understood the concepts of what I needed to do regarding frames per second, shutter speed, etc, but without any prior experience, I was very on-edge, as I didn’t know how it would end up. After I got the footage home and began the editing process, I was more and more convinced that doing video work was something I really loved to do. This commercial was sort of a milestone for me.
